Step onto the mat and into the heart of vinyasa yoga in this immersive five-week course designed to build strength, confidence, and clarity in your practice. Whether you're new to yoga or looking to reconnect with the foundations, this course offers a deep dive into the essential elements of vinyasa flow.

This course is rooted in the transformative energy of vinyasa yoga and anchored in the wisdom of tradition. You’ll gain the tools to move with intelligence and intention, enabling you to participate fully in open vinyasa classes with confidence and awareness.

What we’ll explore:

  1. The building blocks of the vinyasa sequence, including Sun Salutations, Surya Namaskar classic, A, B and the most common standing, seated, and prone asanas.

  2. A practical introduction to pranayama, the phases of the breath, with a focus on the energizing and stabilizing practice of ujjayi breath.

  3. A deeper understanding of the bandhas—internal energy locks that create stability, control, and integrity in your practice.

  4. A grounding in yoga philosophy, guided by the Yoga Sutras 2.46 to 2.48, which illuminate the essence of physical practice.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel empowered to join regular vinyasa classes—able to access their full potential and enjoy the energetic, meditative flow they offer.
